Aloha! I’m Reina Shimokawa, a student passionate about sports, who focuses on creating meaningful experiences. I was born and raised in Hawaii, where I grew up surrounded by the island’s natural beauty and vibrant culture. My journey has been shaped by a blend of unique personal experiences, from family life to years of competition as an athlete. These experiences instilled in me a sense of responsibility, resilience, and the importance of caring for others—a foundation that drives both my personal and professional life. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Sport Management. My dream is to make a meaningful impact in the sports industry, while enjoying what I do.

In my journey, I’ve gained valuable hands-on working experience while focusing on operational excellence and collaboration. Whether I’m working on large-scale events, developing marketing campaigns, or leading teams, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where everyone feels seen and valued. The values I hold closest are hard work, respect, diversity, and teamwork. I take pride in my ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive under pressure. Being organized and dependable are also values I strive to uphold in all my professional endeavors.

My love for sports—whether as an athlete or a fan—has only strengthened my desire to contribute to the field, whether it's by organizing events or crafting innovative campaigns. I’m always looking for new ways to bring people together and create memorable experiences. When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy simple pleasures that allow me to recharge and remain creative like cooking, baking, and playing my ukulele. You can also find me on the volleyball court, as I love to stay active and involved in sports. These hobbies keep me grounded and provide balance in my work-life-school schedule.
